Harakat Shabaab Mujahideen (HSM) movement, an Al-Qaeda (AQ) branch in Somalia through its pro websites has claimed to have killed over 30 Somali forces in the last five days.
In the past five days Al-Shabaab using remote controlled vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (RCVBIED) and vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs) targeting security forces in the capital Mogadishu.
In a Statement, the Somali based Harakat Shabaab claimed responsibility of the RCVBIED that hit the capital Mogadishu that claimed the lives of 17 innocent Somalis along the main Maka Al-Mukarraa road opposite road opposite Hotel Weheliye.
Another SVBIED detonated at a checkpoint in Mogadishu that has access point to several key buildings including Interior Ministry, Traffic Police HQs, Parliament. Four people were killed.
Al-Shabaab are known to exaggerate the number of casualties after these attacks.
