President Kibaki of Kenya, has ordered flags to be raised halfway in respect and tribute to the late environment minister and Kangema MP John Njoroge Michuki.
Michuki died of a heart attack which was triggered by multiple organ failure after several attempts to keep in health failed due to old age.
Miichuki died aged 80 having served for decades as a public officer, minister, and a powerful politician.
Intelligence reports indicate John Michuki was the only Kenyan politician who was loved by all ethnic blocks of Kenya for his exemplary performance in cabinet.
Michuki burial date is schedule for Tuesday 28th of February 2012.
Members of parliament have expressed sorrow and feeling of great loss following the death of the former internal security minister and then environment minister Michuki.
