Garissa Kenya (Terrorism in Kenya)
A terrorist has died after a timed- explosive device exploded before he planted it inside a mosque at a Garissa town suburb, intelligence sources report.
The terrorist died in the powerful explosion which left his colleague badly injured near the Garissa Ndogo village mosque.
Police have sealed the area while a grenade was found along Uchumi street in Garissa town possibly signalling the return of the criminals in the now restive town.
Police have so far concluded the incident as a terror mission gone wrong.
Terror attacks in churches and transport facilities have increased in the country making terrorism in Kenya a major threat to the country’s security.
