Francis Glaser is the man shot to death when a struggle between him and a supervisor ensued during a meeting, police report.
A county meeting in eastern Iowa on Tuesday left Francis Glaser dead after he fired a shot at the county assessor.
Jackson County Sheriff Russ Kettmann cofirmed the Francis Glaser death citing that the 71 year old Glaser, was killed during a struggle with Supervisor Larry “Buck” Koos in Maquoketa.
Glaser fired a shot inside the Jackson County Courthouse during a meeting in which officials were discussing property assessments.
Supervisor Larry “Buck” Koos injured his arm when he crashed through a glass door.
