A Turkish Airlines flight that was carrying 256 passengers from Istanbul to Sao Paulo in Brazil was on Monday diverted after a note with word ‘bomb’ was found in the bathroom.
The Flight 15, a Boeing 777, was en route for Brazil but made an emergency landing in Casablanca Morocco no explosives were found in the plane according to Airline officials.
This comes only a day after another plane from the same airline was diverted back to the airport when a note with ‘C-4 cargo’ (C-4 is a common explosive used in bombs) was found in the bathroom. No explosives were found on the plane either.
The increased terrorism threat especially in Turkey which is in the same region as the ISIS-infested countries Iraq and Syria has caused any and all threats or alarms be investigated thoroughly.
