Former Starehe MP and real estate tycoon Gerishon Kamau Kirima has died in South Africa hospital
Mr Kirima death comes after his family was embroiled in a media saga over property ownership.
Infighting between Kirima’s wife, Mrs Teressia Wairimu and his elder daughters went to the media causing embarrassment.
The death of Kirima was caused by diabetes a condition he has been battling for many years.
Kirima was secretly flown to South Africa after his children realized he was being held against his will in his Kitsuru home.
Kirima leaves behind many grand children and sons and daughters.
He has real estate properties worth about 1 billion shillings.
He died aged 88 after suffering a long illness.
He was undergoing medical treatment in South Africa.
Gerishon Kamau Kirima served as an MP and councilor and also as an assistant minister in the government
