The new Ethiopian Prime Minister (PM) Dr Abiye Ahmed Ali, has arrived in the country for a two-day State visit aimed at bolstering the existing strong relations between Kenya and Ethiopia.
During his visit, the Ethiopian PM is expected to hold talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta. Top of the agenda include the regional integration, peace and security.
The two nations enjoy a strong bond though suffers sporadic border security challenges.
President Kenyatta had in April invited the new PM for a State visit to discuss ways of strengthening relations between the two nations.

President Kenyatta’s invitation letter delivered by Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Secretary, Dr Monica Juma stated that the two countries have always worked together from the beginning.
Ahmed was appointed by Ethiopia’s ruling coalition in March and sworn in as Premier on April.
This will be his third foreign visit, after Djibouti and Sudan, since his swearing-in on 2 April.
