March 22, 2016: Police in Denmark, Sweden and Finland have upped their security in airports and public places in major cities following the Tuesday explosions in Brussels Belgium.
The security measures include increased patrols in Copenhagen airport in Denmark and other key points in the city. In Norway police officers will be allowed temporarily to carry weapons again due to the increased risk of Islamists militants, increased police patrol in the streets. The measures include additioanal thorough inspections at Airports and trains stations.
Additionally Finland and Sweden have implemented similar measures in and around their major airports and cities. Other countries in Europe have employed similar measures to enhance their preparedness towards any attacks Islamists or otherwise.
