The Islamist terrorist groups in Somalia continue to target high-value individuals with the latest car bombings.
Open source reports indicate that at least one civilian was killed and two others wounded when a bomb fitted to a vehicle exploded in Mogadishu on Wednesday noon.
Intelligence report point out that, the blast targeted Southwest State lawmaker Ali Artan Bidaar, near Zoobe intersection in the capital Mogadishu.
Bidaar was not in the car during the explosion; however, reports show that his driver lost his life in the incident.
Since the attack failed achieve its objective (to kill the high vale target), no group has so far claimed responsibility.
