Bradley Franzen an Illinois man has admitted in federal court to helping online poker players evade tax. Bradley Franzen helped large online poker websites dodge U.S. gambling laws by process millions of dollars in payments.
The expert poker payment processors did all this from his home in Costa Rica. He managed throughout to convince banks about the nature of the transactions.
Bradley Franzen has been renowned “payment processor.”
The 41-year old, pleaded guilty in New York to criminal charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, money laundering and abetting illegal gambling.
Franzen is among 11 people charged with tricking banks into illegally processing of upto $3 billion in online poker payments.
Franzen, is from Illinois and has a home in Costa Rica.
He started the business in 2009 when an internet poker firm approached him to help them in processing the payments though he new U.S. law prohibits
