The execution of Clayton Lockett has left authorities and human rights activists in the United States in shock after the 38 year old’s execution went bad.
The killing of Clayton Lockett was an equivalent of murder. It was a botched execution.
Clayton Lockett botched execution using a new drug combination left the convicted killer writhing and clenching his teeth on the gurney Tuesday, at Oklahoma prison.
Lockett, 38, shot a 19-year-old woman and watched as pals buried her alive in 1999 was convicted to hang at the prison.
Prison officials used a combination Midazolam and other drugs to make a new three-drug lethal injection.
The Midazolam drug administered on Clayton Lockett left the convicted killer writhing and clenching his teeth on the gurney and was declared unconscious 10 minutes later.
