At least 19 people were killed and 140 others injured after two bombs attacks in Kerawa Region of Northern Cameroon near Nigeria on Thursday 3rd September 2015.
The bomb attacks happened in the wake of intensified fights between security forces and Boko Haram militants fleeing Nigeria and entering Cameroon disguised as refugees.

On Thursday September 3rd, the Boko Haram militants detonated bombs in Kerawa region in Northern Cameroon where there has been a series of similar attacks. The first bomb attack in the early morning was at the Kerawa market while shortly afterwards another detonated just a few yards from the military infantry camp. Both attacks have reported over 140 injured and at least 19 people dead.
Following recent reports of the change of mode of operation of the desperate Boko Haram Militants of using women and children OSINT reported the bombers being women.
Since the intervention of Nigeria’s neighbors in the war on Boko Haram the attacks in these countries; Chad, Cameroon and Niger has increased as the use female bombers prompting the ban of the Muslim veil as a counter-terrorism measure.
The Multinational Joint Task force approved by the AU in collaboration with the troops previously contributed to fight the militants have exerted so much pressure on them that they have been reported to retreat and even flee.
Boko Haram which is the self-proclaimed Islamic State Western Caliphate is headed for a downfall with their solar plant, bomb factory and economic town recapture in the recent weeks cutting them off to some crucial amenities they need to run operations. They have resulted to crude, uncoordinated and internal wrangles that are a recipe for their defeat.
