The US airstrikes towards the end of October killed Bilal al Tayibina senior Al Qaeda leader in Darin in Kunar’s Ghaziabad district, Afghanistan.
Bilal al Tayibina was killed alongside his two guards and scores of other Al Qaeda militants.
The latest killing comes barely a week after another top ranking Al Qaeda leader was killed in Syria, marking positive strides in upsetting leadership of the militant group that has found haven in the Middle East.
US Officials on Sunday October 18th announced the killing of Sanafi-al-Nasr, a top al Qaeda official in the US-led coalition airstrikes in Syria.
Sanafi-al-Nasr was the highest-ranking member of the Khorasan Group a terror outfit of veteran al Qaeda Jihadis that moved base to Syria.
