A man charged with assaulting a 4-year old boy may be charged with murder after the boy was found dead under a porch in mid-Michigan by authorities.
4-year old Carnel Chamberlain was killed by Anthony Bennett, a 40-year old boyfriend to his mother.
Anthony Bennett was charged in Bay City after it was alleged that 4-year old by Carnel Chamberlain died under his care while his mother was at work.
On June 21, the boy Chamberlain was reported missing leading to a police search in woods and across the area.
The boy was found dead under a porch of where they used to live with his mother and his killer Bennet.
This complicates the case since the tribal police did search around the home before they went to the woods and nearby areas searching for the boy, FBI points out.
