An airstrike conducted in El-Adde, southern Somalia, targeted an Al-Shabaab hideout.
Military intelligence source from Somalia report that the dawn air assault happened in general area in El-Adde, an Al-Shabaab controlled region whereby 8 Al-Shabaab militants were killed including a senior commander and his wife. The intelligence-led air operation also destroyed the militants makeshift camp in the area.
The Kenyan Defense Forces (KDF) or U.S. Forces usually conducts airstrikes targeting Al-Shabaab hideouts and havens across Somalia and the region.
