The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) donated an assortment of office equipment to the Somali Police Force (SPF) to enhance their operational efficiency. The equipment will especially benefit the Galmudug State Police and will be delivered to various police stations in Dhusamareb, Cadaado, Galkcayo, Haraale, and Abudqwaaq.
The office equipment, procured with funds from the Danish Government and includes chairs, tables, and filing cabinets. The equipment will enhance the police force in the said areas to offer better public services, as well as maintain law and order.
The SPF has been making strides towards strengthens its capability to take over from AMISOM when the African troops exit Somalia.
