The Islamists militant group Al-Shabaab claimed to have carried attacks targeting SNA bases in Lower Shabelle region of Somalia.
Through the group mouth-piece, Radio Andalus, the Al-Qaeda affiliated Shabaab claimed to have stormed SNA forces base in Qoryoley, Awdhegle, and in the outskirts of Afgoye in Lower Shabelle region.
Corresponding open source reports of a fierce fight took place in Lower Shabelle region of Somalia, where Shabaab and SNA forces clashed.
SNA reported to have killed 10 terrorists. Al-Shabaab has recently intensified its attacks on Somali National Army bases in Somalia regions.
