A mobile radio station used by the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab terrorist group was on Saturday night destroyed in an airstrike, Somali-state media reported.
According to the state-media based in Mogadishu, unidentified airstrikes hit Jilib town, (terror groups headquarters) a stronghold of Al-Shabaab in Middle Jubba region in southern Somalia targeting Al-Shabaab terrorists destroying its Radio station and killed a number of operatives.
This is a huge blow to the Somali based Al-Shabaab that has been using the radio station to disseminate its propaganda in areas it controls.
