The patrol unit was using the Bodhei-Baragoni MSR. The vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser was destroyed by the RCIED at Kwa Omolo Bridge.

Lower Garissa remains a fluid theater. The terror group has a presence there through small terrorist cells. The terror group continues to demonstrate that it has adapted to the environment and that they’ll avoid direct contact with army due to their capability inferiority, instead, will employ guerilla tactics to ram up their insurgency.
