A raid by Ethiopian Defense Forces working under AMISOM killed several senior leaders of Al-Shabaab militants in Qansahdere District, intelligence source report.
AMISOM Forces from a contingent of the Ethiopian Defense Forces staged a surprise attack targeting senior Al-Shabaab officials in Qansahdere, a district within the Bay region
EDF Fired mortar at a target outside the town and hit a group of commanders in a meeting killing most of them and injuring others.
The terrorists-militant group had increased it’s presence in the area after the withdrawal of the Ethiopian forces in the area.
The Ethiopian forces launched an attack on a safe house believed to house the commanders.
Mortar were fire on Wednesday night hitting the targets and neutralizing most of them.
