Al-Qaeda (AQ) branch in Somalia has claimed ambush on Somali government soldiers in the Somali town of Wanlaweyn.
Harakat Shabaab Mujahideen Movement (HSM) claim that a landmine planted along the roadside tore into SNA vehicle killing at least 10 people and injuring 7 others.
Intelligence reports gathered from locals and corresponds with a number of Somali open sources indicate that those killed were mostly government forces.
Al-Shabaab which thrives on propaganda, has since claimed responsibility exaggerating on the number of casualties.
