- Wednesday 5, August 2015, the interim Jubba Administration leader Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madobe) arrives in Southwestern Dolow Town, Somali.
- During his stay in the town, the IJA leader met with politicians and elders from the region for security and administration talks.
- The head of Interim Jubbaland Administration Ahmed Madobe appoints a former fierce critique of administration as the head of security forces in Gedo region just a few days after visiting the region.
- Madobe in a statement from his office announced Col. Abass Ibrahim as head of the region’s armed forces. Abdullahi Osman Omar was also named his deputy.

Summary
Col. Abass once served as the head of the Federal government forces in the region; he was a big critique of Madobe’s led administration.
Madobe was in Dolow to hold talks between the Jubbaland administration and the local local leadership. The Jubbaland played a key role seeing in several agreements being signed between the two sides.
However, Mohamed Abdi Kaliil trashed the changes saying he does not report to the Madobe led Administration as he was a Federal government appointee.
