The Afghan and coalition forces have killed at least 30 Taliban and ISIS Khurasan (ISIS-K) terrorists in their latest operations conducted in the past 24 hours.
According to Afghan military sources, a coalition-led airstrike in Khugyani district of Nangarhar province killed 2 ISIS-K fighters while 7 more terrorist fighters were killed in similar airstrikes conducted in Washer of Helmand and Chimtal district of Balkh province.
The army source further added that a coalition-led airstrike conducted in Qarah Bagh district of Ghazni killed 4 Taliban fighters.
The Afghan Special Forces conducted a clearance operation in Tarin Kot city of Uruzgan, killing 13 Taliban terrorists and defused 2 roadside bombs.
Afghan Special Forces also conducted another raid in Marawarah district of Kunar, killing 3 Taliban terrorists while 1 Taliban terrorist fighter was killed during a similar operation in Zurmat district of Paktia province.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the operation and killings of their fighters.
