A Norwegian citizen of Somali descent is among the 17 innocent civilians killed in Al-Shabaab remote controlled vehicle borne improvised explosive device (RCVBIED) in the capital Mogadishu.
The Thursday, March 22. RCVBIED attack claimed by the Somali based Harakat Shabaab Mujahideen (HSM) has so far claimed 17 lives with scores reportedly being rushed to various hospitals in Mogadishu.
Hussein Mohamed Dirir, recently returned from Norway. His nephew is also a casualty if Al-Shabaab heinous attacks.
Somalia’s Ministry of Security in a statement has confirmed that 17 people were killed in the incident which was the latest in a string of attacks in the seaside capital by the Al-Shabaab militants.
