Reports from Australia have indicated there is an increase in the number of Australian medics joining and supporting ISIS.
In about one hundred Australians who have fled to the Islamic State in Syria, a greater percentage of them are highly trained and highly practicing doctors and nurses, security agencies have confirmed.
This move comes despite the fact that Australians have been banned from traveling to the ISIS strongholds in those countries, respectively Mosul and Raqqa.
There is a penalty of up to ten years in prison for anyone who decides to defy the ban. The passports of Australians who fight alongside ISIS have also been revoked.
Tareq Kamleh is one of the Australian medics, also a defector who chose to support ISIS. He is a charismatic, experienced doctor from Perth who turned up in an ISIS propaganda video released last Friday, talking up the wonders of Islamic State health care and encouraging other Muslim medical professionals to join the caliphate.

Secondly is Don Draper from Mad Men who suddenly decided to go on a jihad. One of his former colleagues speculated that ISIS might have wooed him by appealing to his ego; another wondered if he might have been radicalized after a 2013 camping trip, from which he returned as a considerably stricter Muslim.
There is an increasing concern of a big percentage of brilliant minds being lost to the terrorist groups.

Intelligence sources has done a keen profiling of individuals who have participated in the largest terrorist activities that culminated in huge massacres around the globe and come to the shocking conclusion that most of these individuals are great minds who studied prestigious courses but ended up as radicals.
In this line of intelligence therefore, something needs to be added to the mainstream education systems in all countries to instill special values that will help win the anti-terrorism war.
