Heroine worth $65,000 seized in a yatch in Mombasa Kenya has led to police to identify the owner as a Mike Carnel, a British Citizen.
Police impounded Mike Carnel’s yacht, ‘Baby Iris’, which was laden with approximately 2028 grams of heroin destined for Seychelles.
Mombasa County Police Commander Robert Kitur said they are holding five suspects, among whom, the captain of the vessel, a Swiss, is believed to be the mastermind of the drug syndicate.
Kitur said they were also detaining the vehicle that was ferrying the drugs to the Kilifi bay before loading into the vessel for overseas trafficking.
