Houthi rebels on Thursday retreated from the airbase in Aden in which they had captured leading to President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi fleeing from the area on Wednesday evening.
Forces loyal to Yemeni President captured the international airport once again after an intense war against the rebels as the Saudi forces hit the rebels in an airstrike.
Iran has however strongly criticized the attack led by the Saudi forces, terming the same as dangerous and could only spice more war in Yemen.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Marzieh Afkham added that the strike was a violation of international responsibilities for respecting the sovereignty of countries.
Afkham further adds that the invasion could lead to more wide spread of terror activities in Yemen.
Yemen President who fled from the country via sea has however not commented on the same just yet.
