In Kenya, the Interior ministry charges Al-Jazeera Television Network of airing a deliberately skewed film to support and empathize with terrorists and their sympathizers.
The Interior Ministry said it will investigate and bring charges against those involved in Al Jazeera’s documentary.
Kenya security agencies insist that the Al-Jazeera film’s “tone and subjective nature” of the documentary was “deliberately skewed to support (and) empathize with terrorists (and) their sympathizers.”
Local Kenyan journalists were involved in the filming while visiting journalists, rather than Nairobi-based staff, had produced the piece, Mwenda Njoka, the Interior Ministry spokesman said in a statement.
