Assassination claims by Raila Odinga’s brother Oburu have been downplayed as mere politik and baseless.
Odinga’s brother Oburu claimed that his brother’s life was in danger.
The nominated member of parliament accused leaders of East African countries as behind the plot to assassinate the former Kenyan prime minister.
East African immediate Kenyan neighbors include Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Tanzania.
According to Oburu the heads of the East African region East African Community are plotting to assassinate former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for undermining them.
Oburu is scheduled to record a statement with the criminal investigations directorate in Nairobi.
However, these allegations have been deemed as mere politik meant to raise a storm since his brother Raila is scheduled to be back in the country soon.
