A modern military training base is under construction and the president has been there to appraise the work himself.
This military training base can train 1200 troops per class and has all required facilities to keep the recruits comfortable.
The training facility has accommodation and classrooms where recruits will undergo courses and training and learn theory.
It has a shooting range and a canteen, mosque, and a sports center where recruits can engage in recreational and sporting activities after class.
The military training facility can also train and house female recruits.
Head of the SNA, General Dahir Adan Ilmi, and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited the facility located in Mogadishu.
