Al-Shabaab overall leader released an audio message through Somali websites and radio stations trying to rally support from the Somali people.
Al-Shabaab is using old socio-political problems to make old wounds open across the Somali society.
The propaganda claims that Ethiopia is planning to annex Somali’s coast to attain a shore line since its landlocked.
The militants also claim that Ethiopia and Kenya are dividing the Somali soils to create states that can be micro-managed by these governments.
The terror group further warned that division of the Somali society, the misuse and taking away of natural resources such as oil and gas was a plan by the AMISOM troops.
These utterances are cheap propaganda and desperate attempts to rally support.
Support for the terror group has significantly fell across Somalia.
