An Afghan airstrike killed a Taliban group leader identified as Qari Syed alongside his three militants in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan.
According to the 209th Shaheen Corps, Afghan security forces conducted the airstrike in Gurziwan district of Faryab. The airstrike killed Taliban group leader Qari Syed and his three militants, destroyed a safe-house believed to be a logistics and attack plan den.
Additionally, the airstrike bombardments destroyed two pickups and a motorcycle among other jihadists weaponry. Also, 2 other militants were critically wounded in the raid.
