Police has been deployed in Nugaal region ahead of Eid ul Fitr. According to Police Commander of Nugaal region Farah Warsame, police operations will continue in the region to tighten the security on the coming days of the Eid festival.
The police commander promised Nugaal residents security as Ramadhan draws to a close on Friday. He promised the people who want to enjoy the happiness of the Eid adequate security saying its police responsibility to make sure the region is safe.
He noted police have arrested young people engaging in theft of various items including phones, kidnapping of children and sometimes rape cases.
He also that police in collaboration with other government forces and allied troops are on high alert to avert an terror eventuality that may disrupt people from Eid ul Fitr festivities in general region of Garowe.
