At least four terror combatants including a local commander of the Taliban group were killed in the US airstrike conducted in central Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan.
According to the 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan Military in the Southeast, the air assaults were carried out in the vicinities of Badam and Alsang areas of Nerkh district.
Corresponding open source reports further added that four militants were killed and two others were wounded during in the air sorties.
According to Thunder Corps, a local commander of the Taliban group is also among those killed but did not elaborate further regarding his identity.
Humiliated anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report.
