At least six people reportedly were killed in a Boko Haram attack in Cameroon’s Far North region
Corresponding reports on open sources indicate that five men and a pregnant woman were killed and two others were injured in the attack, which occurred in the Mayo-Tsanaga division of the Far North region.
Boko Haram attackers also burned houses and churches during the attack, which lasted about an hour, until the intervention of government troops.
Cameroon’s Far North region, which borders the stronghold of the terror group in neighboring Nigeria, recorded in January alone 26 deaths in about 30 Boko Haram attacks.
