A roadside bomb on Sunday killed at least seven people in an area outside Mogadishu, Somalia. Most of the dead were women farmers who live and work in the area mostly dominated by the Al Shabaab. The attack comes barely a week since a truck bombing killed 358 people in Mogadishu injuring over 200 more and at least 50 still missing.
The Sunday bombing hit a minibus in Daniga village about 45km northwest of Mogadishu. Residents have expressed fear seeing as the militants have increased their presence and are seen loitering with black masks on and have increased their ruthlessness to attacking indiscriminately on civilians.
The attacks have resulted to the renewed pledge for support by the international community with offensive attacks being planned in what is being projected to be the greatest offensive against the al Shabaab.
