A Somali military court on Monday 24/4/2017 executed four Al-Shabaab operatives believed were behind a number of attacks last that killed dozens of innocent lives in the southern Somali’s town of Baidoa.
The four terror operatives were convicted of hatching a plan to carry out bomb attacks on football fans watching a match in a restaurant in Baidoa that left dozens killed and scored injured.
Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attacks.
According to the Military court judge Liban Ali Yarow who announced the sentence, the execution of the four terror operatives was a big relief since they too killed dozens of innocent people.
In attendance at the site of the execution were National Army commanders and Southwest
State administration officials.
