Tanzania police reportedly arrested a ‘Madrasa Teacher’ operating terrorism classes in Bagamoyo.
Following a tip off from the residents, police raided the training schools and arrested the teacher alongside 22 children from various parts of Bagamoyo in the Coastal region.
At least 16 of the children were young girls. The police will interrogate these children and then put them into a rehabilitation centre.
During the raid, the police also recovered jihadist literature, materials and a gas bomb at the teacher’s house.
