Mourning Procession in Kabul AfghanistanIn another heinous act of terrorist, an attack targeting Shia Muslim worshippers gathering at a shrine in capital of Ashura left at least 14 worshippers killed and 36 others wounded on Tuesday.
The attack happened when worshipper gathered at the the Karte Sakhi shrine one of the biggest in the capital, for the traditional Shia commemorations on the Ashura holy day were attacked.
The worshippers had gathered at the shrine to mark the death of Prophet Muhammad’s grandson Hussein.
Interior Ministry Spokesman Sediq Sediqqi confirmed that one of the attackers was gunned down by the police.
Kabul police chief Abdul Rahman Rahimi put the number of attackers at four.
July 2015, another attack happened in Kabul targeted Shia Hazara Muslim minority killing at least 80 and leaving 200 others wounded.
The attack was claimed by Daesh/Islamic State terrorists clearly indicating terrorists are not Muslims but criminals hiding in the religion.
