Kenyan security authorities over the weekend placed 2 million (20,000 U.S. dollar) bounty reward for Ramadhan Kioko who a Lamu terror suspect.
Security authorities called on anyone with any information that may lead to the capture of Ramadhan Kioko to give it out to the nearest police station.
On Saturday, the ministry of interior produced the photo of Ramadhan Kioko saying he is wanted for planning attack in the coastal town of Lamu.
Ramadhan Kioko is believed to be involved in a terror attack around Ishakani area in Kiunga in Lamu East where five KDF soldiers were injured after their vehicle was hit by an IED on July 26.
Anyone with information was urged to share through 999 or 112. The ministry of interior described Kioko as armed and dangerous.
Kenya is currently engaged in the fight Al-Shabaab Islamist in southern Somalia where it has soldiers under AMISOM.
