Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, formerly known as the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda (al-Nusra Front) and TIP division battling Syrian Assad regime continue to eulogize the killing of the group’s military commander, Abu Umar Saraqib, killed in U.S. and coalition airstrikes.
The terrorist group on 9th September 2016 published a statement in which they described how Abu Omar Saraqib alias Ossama Nammourah was killed.
The statement confirmed that on the on 8th September 2016, at around 7 pm, the U.S.-led coalition airstrikes targeting the Jaysh Al-Fath (Jaf) Aleppo military operations safe-house in the countryside of Aleppo resulted to the death of JaF’s general Commander Abu Omar Saraqib also known with alias Ossama Nammourah.
Killing of military commander Abu Omar Saraqib is a big blow to Jabhat Fateh al-Sham that is rebranding from it former al-Nusra Front, which has been the official branch of al-Qaeda in Syria.
