Daesh (Islamic State) terrorist group continue to suffer huge blows after an exercise by Iraqi forces last week unearthed a mass grave containing remains of more than 100 Daesh terrorists in Iraqi’s Khalidiya Island.
On Monday 8th August 2016, a report by Iraqi cabinet indicate that majority of Daesh remains were found in a mass grave recently discovered in western Iraq and according to medical tests shows are of Asian background.
The statement by the cabinet indicates that the terrorists had been buried in the grave at an estimated time of two weeks or two months ago.
“Most of them were buried during operations to liberate the island recently,” the statement added.
Iraqi forces recently (last month) recaptured Khalidiya Island from the control of Daesh terrorist group.
Daesh terrorist group often buries their dead fighters or throws them in the River Euphrates in order to hide their losses.
