ISIS also called Daesh terrorist group has executed eight of its own fighters in northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk for allegedly escaping from battles with Iraqi security forces.
The executed fighters were supposed to face off with Iraqi forces in the city of Hawijah in Kirkuk province but left the battlefield reported al-Sumaria on Sunday.
The militant group also executed seven others in Hawijah publicly for allegation of spying and collaborating with Iraqi forces.
ISIS in Iraq in the past few weeks has suffered serious dents after US-led coalition struck their convoy from Fallujah killing at least 250 militants and destroying over 170 militant’s vehicles.
The Iraqi army and volunteer forces (US-led coalition) are involved in operations against the ISIS Takfiris.
