Al-Shabaab continues to record huge losses with Somali Somali inflicting more losses to the al Mujahideen fighters on Saturday 26th March 2016.
According to President of Galmudug troops Abdikarim Hussein Guled, Somali forces killed 60 Al-Shabaab militants and captured 38 more in the raids in Dinoda, Jiray Bali-Hawd and Galhagoog.
Guled said Al-Shabaab militants have suffered huge blows in the hands of Galmudug forces and vowe to sustain the onslaught until the Islamist militants are eliminated from the entire state of Galmudug.
Guled also noted that the militant group had earlier in the week suffered a huge defeat in Puntland region saying Galmudug forces are prepared to completely annihilate the elements that have fled Puntland to Galmudug.
He also called on the people of Galmudug to continue to take part in the wider military operation against Al-Shabaab across the country by sharing intelligence/information, despite the victory of flushing them out from the Galmudug territory.
