11th February 2016: The Federal Government of Somalia has welcomed the contribution of the Arab League which Somalia is a member for its continuous efforts in promoting governance and reconstruction efforts in Somali.
This comes after a high level Arab League meeting in Mogadishu hosted by Somalia’s Prime Minister in Mogadishu.
The Arab League has assured to increase the support it warrants Somalia in achieving its Vision 2016 which includes support in the electoral process and upcoming elections as well as the fight against the al Shabaab terror group that has been terrorizing and plunging the country into senseless economic and political turmoil.
