25th November 2015, over 20 Al Shabaab suspects were nabbed in a major security swoop conducted in Bulo-Burde in Central Somalia.
Bulo-Burde district commissioner Abdulaziz Durow confirmed on the security operation that involved search from house-to-house across Bulo-Burde town.
Durow confirmed on the operation as a success citing more such need to be conducted regularly in order to secure the town and residents from Al Shabaab menace.
The suspects were taken in police custody for interrogation.
Bulo-Burde is a former Al Shabaab stronghold in central Somalia of Hiiraan region.
