Al-Shabaab terrorists ambushed an AMISOM base in SECTOR-1 today, 1st September 2015, military and civillian intelligence reports show.
AMISOM denied that the terrorists killed 50 soldiers from the Uganda People Defense Forces (UPDF) besides overruning the base in the Janaale attack.
The Shebaab issued a statement through one of their propagandaist Abu Musab, claiming that they conducted a SVBIED and a gun attack targeting the UPDF contingent in AMISOM SECTOR 1 base of Janaale.
The terror group claimed they were revenging an attack by AMISOM troops in Marka that left several civillians dead and also, the death of their leader Abu Zubeyr aka Godane by a drone strike in 2014.
AMISOM made a statement through their official twitter account denying claims that that Janaale base was overrun by the terrorists and that no arms were captured or destroyed by the militants.
Uganda just quit this mission or else your soldiers will be finished.
