Islamic State in another shocking revelation is doing the unthinkable to radicalize young men in their terror group.
The jihadist group is reportedly giving away female sex slaves who are captured in wars as ‘awards’ to reward young men and even minors who memorize the Holy Quran.
The announcement for the competition organized to mark the Holy month was made on Twitter on June 19th. This is according to Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) and the Clarion Project. The two are separate independent research institutes that track social media accounts linked to terrorist groups.
The shocking announcement on twitter begins with congratulatory message to the ISIS soldiers followed with upcoming Quran memorization competition announcement.
The announcement further lists the prizes to be awarded to the top ten competitors. The top three to be awarded with a sibya in translation is a female slave captured at war.
The competitors are to come to four Mosques including the ‘Mosques of Abu Bakr el-Sadiq, Mosque of Osama Bin Laden, Mosque of Abu Musab el-Zarqawi or The Mosque of el-Taqwa.
The least prize award is $500 listed in Syrian currency.
ISIS which has a huge control across Syria and Iraq has created a self-proclaimed caliphate, advocates for extreme application of Islamic law or sharia.
The extremist group is known in employing of crude and brutal punishments including stoning, crucifixions, floggings and beheadings
