Egypt’s Army on Tuesday September 8th launched the biggest military operation in the Sinai Peninsula against the Islamic State Takfiri yet.
On the first day of operation, the Egyptian military reported killing 56 militants with only two soldiers succumbing to injuries.
According to the Egyptian authorities this is one of many similar major military operations that will be launched against the jihadists until Egypt has been rid of the terrorists.

Egypt’s Army on Tuesday September 8th launched a major military operation in the Sinai Peninsula against the Islamic State jihadists that have established cells in the region. The operation left 56 jihadists and two soldiers dead in the operation that launched at dawn.
Operation Right of the Martyr is aimed at eliminating all the terrorists and their cells from the Rafah, Sheikh Zuweid and El-Arish in North Sinai.
This is one of many military operations that Egypt is launching against the Islamic State Takfiri in the Sinai Peninsula where they have been terrorizing and conducting ambushes and front offensives on the security forces.
Since the ouster of President Mohammed Morsi and Islamist of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2013, Egypt has been struggling to quash the Takfiri belonging to the Islamic State Affiliate Sinai Province.
