At least 5 al Qaeda terrorists were killed in an overnight special military operation in Nangarhar province in Afghanistan. The provincial media office confirmed the operation that was conducted in the Toto area in Shirzad district.
Foreign militants, a suicide bombing plotter and a key member of the group were among those killed in the offensive, the statement said. The statement said the three foreign militants included Chechen and Pakistani citizens.
Moreover, the security officers arrested three more armed militants in an area that has been having numerous military operations mainly against the Daesh as well as other militants that have sought fortitude in the province.
